Are you reaching your peak? okay so I may have tricked you a little by the tittle. I am not about to start telling you about my top 10 masturbating techniques, but it is sort of relevant. When you have an orgasm you reach a peak of sexual excitement and you release a feeling of intense physical pleasure, so I wanted to see how I could I achieve that daily not by masturbating or having sex but by being productive and ticking off and achieving daily goals, what excites you about your day? I would like to think I have a get up and go attitude, during my normal routine my alarm goes off at 04:30am for work and I get up straight away I work in a leisure centre as a lifeguard, before you start visualising Pamela Anderson running along the beach… its nothing like Baywatch. Anyway, there is the morning shift of 5:45am – 1pm or the evening of 1pm – 8:15pm. I always prefer the morning shift, you get work out the way and have the rest of the day to do whatever you like. Since this pandemic has broken out and obviously, I have not been at work, I have had absolutely no form of a routine whatsoever and it has left me feeling severely unmotivated and very un-productive. I have been going for walks, drawing, reading books and watching absolute crap on tv but its not the norm for me. So with all of that said I haven’t been reaching the peak of my day, I haven’t really set or reached any goals, again before lockdown I was reading a book a month and swimming and gyming every day and setting goals for those daily. When setting goals whilst its amazing to look at the bigger picture to know where you want to go, I feel that is how a lot of people stumble at the first hurdle. Its like if your driving from your house, point A to some adventure destination that you have not been before, point B. You cannot predict your journey, there may be roadworks, road accident, flat tyre you may even have the scoots and must stop at every service station slowing your drive down… What im saying is you and your situation are constantly changing, you just cannot predict it. That should not be a deterrent because at the end of the day you are still driving right? You are still on the road, right? Which means your still going. We just need to take every leg of the journey as it comes, we know we will get there to point b eventually. We do not need to rush it. I know im not the only one this pandemic has affected in terms of losing a daily routine and made me forget about goals. So, for the past week I have shifted this un motivational, unproductive cloud like the big bad wolf I huffed, and I puffed and blew that bloody cloud away and good riddance. I started out by setting a more reasonable alarm so instead of every day being a lazy lie in till 10am, I have been getting up at 8:30am… (my mum friends would tell me this is still a lie in). It may sound like a really small change but hey change is change. Secondly I’ve set myself some daily tasks; Monday – Do a wash, Weed the garden, 17:00 walk Tuesday - Load The Dishwasher, Read a chapter of my book, 17:00 walk Wednesday – 09:00Dr appointment, 12:00 Outdoor Walking adventure Day Thursday – 11:30am Write my Blog, 14:00 meeting,16:00 pm meeting, 17:00 walk Friday – 10:00 Hair Appointment (FINALLY) 12:30 Food shopping, 16:00 Walk, 18:30 Group Quiz Saturday – Adventure Day with Blake Sunday –Morning walk with a friend, Lazy day, Read 1 Chapter of my book. So I know that routine isn’t anything dramatic, but its allowed me to develop some structure and goals whilst I appreciate going for a walk isn’t a huge goal I still set it to do and I have, It’s the last thing on my daily task list I need to do for the day and I feel accomplished after doing. For this week being out on my walk really has been the peak of my day. I’ve been with my thoughts and good music and simply taking in all the smells of all the plants, flowers and enjoying nature oh and hugging some trees on the way… yes I do hug trees, if you haven’t I highly recommend trying it.
Despite turning my hand to a couple of trades in my life I started out in fitness as a personal trainer one of the first things your taught is about clients and goals. This is just applied to fitness you can do this when setting any goals, many of you will of heard of this before but the basis to goal setting is SMART… S- Specific – say exactly what you what to achieve, keep it simple. if you are unsure answer these questions; 1. Why do I want to achieve it?
2. who’s involved/ Do I need to rely on others?
3. What do I want to achieve?
M – Measurable – This will allow you to follow progress, keep you on track. Answer questions like; 1. How Long will it take?
2. How much per day/week will I have to do this?
A – Achievable – do not go wild and set unrealistic time scales to complete things, added pressure causes stress and can lead to you not following through on achieving your goal.
1. How will I achieve this?
2. Is it realistic?
3. Do I have the finances if needed?
4. Can I achieve it? (no one else has control over it)
R – Relevant – does the goal line with what you want, you are not going to go and take some computing courses if you want to be a gardener.
1. Does it make sense to be doing it?
2. Will this drive my career?
3. Will I truly benefit from this?
T – Time – awesome you have set a goal but is it a good time frame? This also ties in everything above this point.
1. When?
2. What can I do to kickstart this today?
3. What will I do in 2 months’ time?
Something else I found is especially when doing “ new years resolutions” which is something I no longer do, due to the fact I think it’s a load of old rubbish waiting till new year to start achieving, we should constantly be setting goals for ourselves. Not just at the start. When we do this, we set loads… it puts you off it is overwhelming pressure of seeing a list of things, you do not know where to start and then can’t be arsed and don’t follow through. Just go one at a time, work your way through. Start with the most important, then once you have achieved it set another and work your way through that. I feel that as humans we try to do too much at once instead of just doing one job and doing it great before moving onto the next one. For me goal setting is how I can achieve my daily orgasm, how I can reach that daily peak no matter how big or small. Simply knowing that you have achieved something is a great feeling. So whilst looking on your journey don’t worry about getting to the end in a hurry, just put one foot in front of the other and try not to fall, even if you do fall remember you can pick yourself back up and carry on. It may be major, or it may be minor but just keep going. Keep Going Keep Surviving And most importantly…
Keep S.M.A.R.T. Thanks for reading Bee 😊
P.S Did you have your daily orgasm today; I know I did 😉
